This special issue engages with the nexus narrative, environment, and social justice. Recently, these three powerful concepts have been theorized as affecting and even infusing each other. It’s always in and through narratives of various kinds that the environment and social issues of the past or present are negotiated. Our eight contributors inquire into how we – as individuals and collectives – frame our experiences in these areas through narratives, to whom we tell them, and when, where, and why.
